Korhan Futacı is a saxaphone player, singer songwriter and producer from İstanbul. He has been the head and a member of several bands and projects including Tamburada,Dandadadan, Kujo, Konstrukt, Kara Orkestra as well as many other contributions.
Tamburada recorded their first album in Atlethic Sound Studios in Norway and play in various festivals such as İstanbul Jazz Festival, “ŞimdiNow” Festival in Stuttgart and Berlin Jazz Festival.
Dandadadan has made a big impact on Turkish music scene with their recording album “Sen Bana Birini Android” knocking down performances of avant rock music truly blended with turkish traditional music brought them the best album of the year from several music magazines, Mtv European Music Awards nominee and loads of gigs to play. The band has made wide audience, made the opening act of İstanbul Bienal, get to play in several gigs in Europe including Antwerp KunstFest ,Tubingen Schloss Cafe, Munich Unterfarhrt Jazz Club.
Konstrukt free jazz improvisation band has made many collabrations with many international jazz musicians recording albums and concerts.
Peter Brötzmann, Evan Parker, Marshall Allen conductor of SunRa Arkestra, Jürg Solothurman, Paal Nielsen Love have become the band’s collabrators.
“Korhan Futacı & Kara Orkestra” his lastest project gave a start approximately 3 years ago with all the experiences of those written above coming together in one idea.
Blending all the information in his wise knowledge and pour out his skills into creating a unique sound that will certainly erode every piece of your body and mind.
Group of 6, come together to expose an orchestral sound so rich in textures and styles when organically bond together works like machine of consiousness.
Developed its genes from physcdelic jazz rock, experimental free jazz as well as gathering the essense of many ancient turkish traditions of ritualistic values, epical themes derived from ottoman tradition.
Spectacular crew of Kara Orkestra makes it happen, big city chaos and craziness turns into intelligently composed colorful musical ideas.
Kara Orkestra’s concerts are experiences; deeply intense, spritually high and awakening.
They released their debut album this year and their shows took places in concert halls in town.

Yasemin Mori & Band
Yasemin Mori is Istanbul based artist, singer, song writer.
She release her debut album in 2008 “Hayvanlar” (Animals) which made a big influence on the listeners in her country and her voice became heard all over Turkey, be awarded for the best album of the year, best female artist by many constitutions and universities.
This success was not what she expected at all, after 2 years of touring she wanted to settle down to find a new dimension in her music, new paths and ways of expression
2012 she made a come back with the second albüm “Deli Bando” meaning “Delirious Band” with more personalized, more coherant and sophisticated tunes.
The whole album is a praise to music, telling stories about sacred indians, the love of earth, joy of living, very liberated and rebelliously she’s telling how to find a way in our industrialized world to access sprituality, having felt that healing the world is what humanity needs.
She smells the essence of time well enough to put chaos in an astetical way through cosmic balance
Her perfomances are enchanting, they may even recall dionisian rituals and takes you to a surreal state of mind
She works with the same band for four years now, outstanding musician crew, presenting you the nicest blend
